I had a delicious burger on Sunday night at Bonnie's Grill on 5th Ave in Park Slope. the meat was "spiced", a nice combo of chili and other peppers, mine was served with lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheddar cheese AND grilled Jalepenos. At first, i was a little skeptical, peppers are more of a steak sandwich thing, but it was REALLY good. the outside of the meat was crisp, the inside juicy, a perfect medium rare. the bun wasn't my favorite (soft, doughy Kaiser) and was rather flavorless, but i appreciate that it meant that i was tasting the meat and toppings and not bread. wash it down with a Lone Star, much the excellent fries, and enjoy. if you're in the area, it's worth a stop. laid back atmosphere too.
