This would truly be the ultimate test of a burger's ability to withstand, abormal wait time. Isn't there a science to getting that soft chewy, toasted bread, cheese and meat just right, while in transit to your doorstep?

I vote we add a few or perhaps the top five choices and award them the honor of Best Delivery Burger. Truly a miraculous achievement. I have yet to eat a burger that wasn't soggy, dry, stale or just sub-par upon delivery.

Any suggestionnnnssss???

I put some thought into this PazzinaBurgessa and I have decided the only way to properly deliver a burger would be to seperate all the ingredients like this:

Lettuce, pickle, tomato, whatever your sides are will come on the side.

The bun on the side too. Un-toasted, if you want it toasted, do it at home.

The patty would be sent wrapped or packaged in some kind of tin foil jobby. Something to retain the heat and juice.

Don't forget about the Fry compartment too. Also tin foil.

I smell a Burger revoloution. BurgerClub (tm) could patten a container that would hold all of the ingredients in there own little compartments. We could call it the BurgerMover (tm) or something. Start it in college towns to directly compete with the dominance of Pizza delivery and we'll all be rich!!! It'll be the next Velcro.

I don't think it is as elusive or labor intensive as we may think. We have only to look at Fast Food restaurants. How do they manage to get those little buns, cheese etc all set and packed into the bag so you can take it home and it's still ok. Now imagine if you had something with better ingrediants. Is it the freshness that kills everything? Are frozen and processed ingrediants better suited to stand the test of the delivery.

I think we should try it. There has to be someone out there.
SUPERBOWL Night would be an excellent night to test this theory and order from several different venues to see what works and who wins this extraordinary commendation.
