I had the pleasure of inhaling a Lucky Burger last Tuesday, the 19th late night. I REALLY enjoyed this slutty little number. Potato bun, good toppings, the only thing i wasn't too thrilled with was the sauce they put on it. it's a smoky BBQ, and while baby loves sauce, I went a step beyond and into the super sauce, which was REALLY smoky flavoured. i don't recommend that you use that one. go Lucky and go LIGHT. all in all, a nice little fresh slut for your tummy. Good fries too! and the guy that runs it was so certain that we'd say it wass the best burger ever, he kept looking over and saying, "huh? what did i tell you?!"
not the best burger ever, but for quick and slutty, this is a good one. Also, get a milkshake. they are f---ing amazing.

Went back to Lucky Burger again last night, and the second time around was even better than the first. I followed my own advice, got a Lucky (no cheese) and cheese fries, went easy on the sauce. it was delicious!! their pickles are thinly cliced and very flavourful, they use tiny diced onions that give a hint of flavor without overpowering. and again, potato roll, gives it this backyard BBQ feel that makes a soft little pillow for this delicious monster. i dipped mine in The Whiz that came with the fries, perfect combo, but maybe get your cheese on the side, as the fries are better crispy and covered in salty goodness. yum!

All I gotta say is we've been wasting time and money on the more expensive "bistro" burgers... as Shake Shack and now Lucky prove that expensive cuts of beef don't always make a burger tasty... these NY "fast" burgers aren't the "one", but they sure beat the pants off some more pricey places... I just wish I could take business trips to LA to be amongst the best "fast" burgers out there... heck, some of the "best" burgers out there.
As the other Lucky posts have mentioned, stay away from the sauces... the cheese fries are way too cheesy, you might like that, but I prefer a crisp fry over a soggy one... and the "lucky" sauce is not my choice for a burger... goes well with fries though. Lucky does a nice job with the overall and tops the burger with some nice sized pickle slices... soft roll always a good choice in my opinion too.

Not pleased at all with this burger. It was simply a sloppy greasy mess filled with some kind of smokey mayo that has no place on a burger. Not only was the sauce smokey, but the patty itself seemed to be inundated with a smokey essence. Bad choice mr. lucky, time to go back to burger 101. The cost of this thing was way overpriced for being a fast food stlyle burger. Maybe I was wrong to go double on my cheese burger, but that's no excuse for this place. Simply a disapointment. Good crinkle cut fries, but again, the smokey dipping sauce was just too much. Would venture again only if I was really drunk and couldn't walk the the 8 blocks over to blue 9 burger.
